JV Partner Marinvent announces Honeywell Primus Epic CDS/R STC for Piaggio Avanti

JV Partner Marinvent is pleased to announce our latest STC for the Primus Epic CDS/R certfied in our own Piaggio Avanti in October, 2005. The suite provides full FMS navigation capability and control of the autopilot by the copilot, both of which were unavailable in the original aircraft configuration.

JV Partner Marinvent obtains ACSS T2CAS STC for the Piaggio Avanti

JV Partner Marinvent Corporation is proud to announce that it has received a Canadian Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of the ACSS T²CAS™ system for the Piaggio Avanti (P-180) aircraft. The flight test certification and program were performed entirely by Marinvent Corporation. The aircraft modification engineering was achieved in partnership with TG Aviation in Hamilton, Ontario.

École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) has awarded JV Partner Marinvent recognition of excellence for its involvement in the cooperative internship program. This Award of Excellence was awarded to JV Partner Marinvent for the quality of the internships and projects offered to students.

NRC to conduct flight tests for new Marinvent displays

Marinvent’s President John Maris was awarded the 2005 Mckee trophy

Marinvent’s President, John Maris has been awarded prestigious Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI) Trans-Canada (McKee) Trophy. The Mckee trophy, created in 1927, is awarded each year to a Canadian “for outstanding achievement in the field of air operations”. Click here to read the entire Mckee trophy definition.

Meggitt Magic EFIS and ADAHRS STC FAA familiarized for the Piper Cheyenne

Marinvent obtained Meggitt Magic EFIS and Meggitt ADAHRS STC familiarization from the FAA. Special Conditions; Piper Cheyenne PA-1T, PA-31T1, and PA-31T2; Protection of Systems for High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF).
